Family Impact in South Africa

Family Impact is a faith-based organisation which supports a large variety of institutions, churches, and businesses in their response to communicable diseases by celebrating the beauty of God’s plan for family life and relationships and promoting its transforming power.  We recognize the family as the centre of community well-being and aim to create social transformation through training and equipping people with appropriate resources to build and transform them for positive moral living through decisions made out of sound personal conviction.

Family strengthening courses (Foundations for Family) and Women’s Health courses are implemented. Participatory Health and Hygiene education is being rolled out in schools, along with lifeskills programs (The Leadership Tree). Marriage strengthening is happening through The Marriage Course 101 program, through training trainers nationwide.

Family Impact South Africa is a currently based in Pretoria, but operating across Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal, expanding into the Eastern Cape in 2014.
